NERO Æon - Toronto and Surrounding Area :: Your Imagination Has Found A Home!

NERO Aeon is currently starting events at a new site near Milton, Ontario called Camp Manitou.

The site is a 96-acre Scout camp that normally runs activities for children. NERO Aeon will have the two largest buildings on the site, as well as access to open fields and forests. There are no showers, but there is a separate washroom building and all the buildings have running water. The Rotary Lodge, which will likely be used as the Adventurers' sleeping facilities, has two private washrooms (as opposed to stalls). Bunk padding is not provided in the sleeping area.

The Rotary Lodge has a large wooden deck overlooking an open field as well as lots of windows and a large main floor common area. The other building, McLaughlin, has a large kitchen, lots of seating for meals and space for several bunks at one end as well. All buildings are heated.

Driving Directions:

From Toronto -

North end - Take Hwy 401 West to Guelph Line. Head south on Guelph Line until Steeles Ave. Turn right on Steeles, and then left on Twiss Road. The camp is on the right hand side. Careful! Twiss road is steep and curvy!

South end - Take Hwy QEW West to Guelph Line. Head north on Guelph Line until Derry Road. Turn left on Derry Road and then right on Twiss Road. The camp is on the left hand side. Careful! Twiss road is steep and curvy!

From Windsor -

Take Hwy 401 East towards Toronto. Once past Cambridge, watch for Guelph Line. Head south on Guelph Line until Steeles Ave. Turn right on Steeles, and then left on Twiss Road. The camp is on the right hand side. Careful! Twiss road is steep and curvy!

From Niagara Falls -

Take the QEW towards Toronto. Once past Hamilton, watch for Guelph Line. Head north on Guelph Line until Derry Road. Turn left on Derry Road and then right on Twiss Road. The camp is on the left hand side. Careful! Twiss road is steep and curvy!
